Fieldlines - Biate x Vinayak^a
Magnetic Fields Festival
Take a look at the special connections and cultural common grounds that were explored in 2022 as part of Fieldlines 2022.
For this special project we partnered with 'The Forgotten Songs Collective', to feature artists from the Biate tribe in collaboration with Vinayak^a. The collective lived and created music together in the palace’s Badal Mahal during the run-up to the festival. The residency culminated with open-studio rehearsals, a traditional Biate performance on the palace rooftop and a collective multi-media performance on the final day of the festival.
'Fieldlines: The Forgotten Songs Collective' was supported by Goethe Institut New Delhi as part of their MAP // AMP programme.
