Fieldlines Portraits: Bidisha Das  Magnetic Fields Festival

Kolkata-based sound artist Bidisha Das brought the most leftfield of sonic explorations into the mix of contemporary German electronic musicians and Indian folk artists as part of Magnetic Fields 2019's residency 'Fieldlines', treading the creative distance to meet traditional musicality from its extreme opposite end with her unique DIY instruments. 'Fieldlines' was made possible with a Goethe Institut Coproduction Fund grant and collaboration with Gebrüder Teichmann and their label Noland, and was performed on the BUDx South Stage.
