In the 120th year, Royal Enfield celebrated the coming together of a centuries-old craft and contemporary manufacturing prowess.
The 120th Year Anniversary edition motorcycles feature a unique handcrafted die-cast brass tank badge, made in collaboration with the multi-generational artisan ‘Sirpi (Sculptor) Senthil’ family from the temple town of Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, India. Particularly specialised in making elegant brass effigies for the most revered temples in India, this is the first time that these artisans have collaborated with any automotive brand.
The pinstripes handpainted over the tank pay homage to the legendary Madras Stripes, a hallmark of Royal Enfield’s build traditions that have been passed down through generations as well.
